Plant Manager

To take ownership of internal plant for Tracked Dumper Hire UK. This is a challenging position requiring an individual with experience in the management of plant assets.
Skills required:
  • People management experience.
  • Experience in the plant hire industry an advantage.
  • Adaptable to new methods of working.
  • Good communication skills and telephone manner.
  • Good computer skills essential. Knowledge of Syrinx desirable although training will be given.
  • Committed, flexible approach to varying duties.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
Duties:
  • To take ownership of all internal plant for the company.
  • Planning preventative and ongoing maintenance and aiding the further development of our fleet.
  • Negotiate supply contracts.
  • To ensure stock levels are at a satisfactory level.
  • To prepare a weekly costings report
  • Securing plant assets.
  • To assist with the daily plant hire process.
Hours of work: 42.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. but flexibility required.
Rate of pay: Negotiable
Location: Manor Farm, Binham

 

 

Hire Desk Controller

Skills required: Must be computer literate with good communication and accurate data input skills. Knowledge of Sage Line 50 an advantage.
Duties: You will be responsible for providing our customers with a fast and efficient plant hire service. Primarily working on our hire desk, you will be striving to exceed customer expectations every time. Reporting into the Hire Desk Manager, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, organising transport, hire contract administration and processing payments and invoices.

You will be customer focused, well organised, disciplined and able to work under pressure. Previous experience within a plant or tool hire role would be an advantage but not essential as training can be given.
Hours of work: 42.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. but flexibility required.
Rate of pay: £7.00 per hour.
Location: Manor Farm, Binham

 

 

Skilled Plant Mechanic

Experienced mechanic required to maintain and repair our growing plant hire fleet.
Skills required: Knowledge of modern hydraulics, electrical and diesel systems essential. Clean driving licence.
Qualifications: City & Guilds Technician qualification and at least 3 years experience of dealing with heavy mobile plant. HGV Class 1 licence would be an advantage.
Hours of work: 7.30am to 6.00pm Monday - Friday plus Saturday work as required. May include overnight stays and response to weekend and out-of-hours emergencies.
Rate of pay: £10.00 per hour and use of service van, plus over-time as required.
Location: Based in Norfolk with considerable UK travel.
